Hotel Nacional Merida

The location was great and convenient, close to the central square, bars, and restaurants. Booked a room with a bathtub for relaxation. - the room had Pay TV, a safe box, and a microwave - just what I needed.

Good hotel at fairly good price. There is a lot of construction nearby taking place in the government's name. A lot of newiblic passage ways are being remodelled but also at the client's expense due to the high alterations of noise during the day. Breakfast was quite good and staff was rather friendly.

I stayed at this place and had a great time! The location is perfect, super close to the main square and right next to downtown. The room was clean and spacious, with all the amenities I needed. Complementary slow but steady Wi-Fi, and breakfast that was light but filling. the hotel's location was in walking distance of shopping malls, local restaurants and cultural attractions, ideal for getting to know the city. I enjoyed the picturesque view of the nearby town square from my window!

The rooms smelled a bit musty when I first arrived, but opening the window helped to air it out. there seemed like a faint sewage smell in some areas of the hotel, but it wasn't too overpowering.

the hotel did have parking available, which was convenient. The location of the hotel was also great, as it was centrally located and easy to access various attractions in the city. However, these two factors were not enough to make up for the numerous negative aspects of our stay. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel and finding a better option in Merida.
